17-Year-Old Injured in Car Accident in Grimes County, TX
Grimes County, TX — March 5, 2023, a 17-year-old was injured in a car accident around 9:07 p.m. on State Highway 30 in Grimes County.
According to authorities, the victim was eastbound in a Chevy C2500 while a Saturn Vue was westbound when the two vehicles collided head-on. Sources report the Saturn Vue allegedly failed to maintain its lane and crossed into the C2500's path.
The minor driver in the C2500 and the driver of the Saturn Vue both reportedly suffered serious injuries and were transported to a hospital.
Police recommended charging the Saturn Vue driver with Driving While Intoxicated.
