St. Louis, MO — December 5, 2025, one person was killed as the result of an 18-wheeler accident at around 6:00 a.m. along Interstate 270.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened in the area of Olive Boulevard along northbound lanes of the interstate.
According to officials, multiple vehicles on the interstate crossed paths and collided. One of the vehicles involved was an 18-wheeler. Due to the crash, one person was killed. It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.

Commercial vehicle accidents are complex enough on their own. When multiple vehicles are involved, it can present additional hurdles. That’s why it’s important to consider how much time and effort authorities are able to dedicate to the crash. If they were only focused on clearing the crash scene and looking for potential charges to file, there could still be time-sensitive evidence that has not yet been preserved. The sooner steps are taken to secure the evidence, the less questions the victim’s family will be left with.
