Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
People sometimes think 18-wheeler accidents are just big car accidents. The reality is they can be far more challenging than typical accidents. They require careful inspections of the road, the wheels, the truck’s cargo, the truck itself, the working conditions the driver is put under, training procedures, hours of service, etc. If authorities simply treat this like a car crash, they’re bound to miss something crucial. So, was this crash given the attention it deserves?
