Travis County, TX — March 25, 2023, a 25-Year-Old from Carmel, IN was injured in an alleged hit-and-run truck accident around 11:11 a.m. on Hamilton Pool Rd. in Travis County.
Officials report a 25-year-old in a GMC Terrain was traveling eastbound behind a Ford F-250 with a trailer when a tire from the F-250’s trailer came off and entered the westbound lanes of traffic. A Ford F-150, traveling westbound, attempted an evasive maneuver to dodge the tire and struck the GMC Terrian head-on.
The F-250 with the trailer did not stop, and police have requested help from the public to locate it.
The 25-year-old in the GMC reportedly suffered serious injuries and the driver in the F-150 was reportedly uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
