Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
It's not clear right now if authorities made progress in their investigations. Even weeks or months following a hit-and-run, though, it can be helpful to recirculate the details in the public. A lot of the time, hit-and-runs are resolved because someone in the community was able to connect the dots. Sometimes business owners or residents will realize they have a security camera that may have caught the incident on video. People might realize they know someone with a vehicle that got damaged around that date and time. Ultimately, it's important that victims and families know there will be accountability for what happened to them. That alone should be enough reason for authorities to keep up the pressure.
