Alberto Borrego Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Pharr, TX
Pharr, TX — September 30, 2023, Alberto Borrego was killed in a single-vehicle crash at Rodriguez Avenue and Kennedy Street in Pharr, TX.
Authorities indicate that on September 30, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle crashed in Pharr for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 1:36 in the afternoon.
Investigators say a Mazda 3 was traveling north along Rodriguez Avenue and allegedly proceeded through a stop sign at Kennedy Street. Sources say the Mazda went through the intersection and crashed into a concrete fence. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
Officials confirmed that the Mazda 3 driver, 49-year-old Alberto Borrego, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were said to be involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
