Houston, TX — October 12, 2024, Allan Madrid Padilla was killed as the result of a bus accident that took placer around 10:30 a.m. along Gessner Road.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened at the intersection of Gessner Road and Westview Drive.
Investigators said that Allan Madrid Padilla was on a Honda motorcycle traveling southbound along Gessner Road. A bus was said to be going northbound. Due to events which aren’t clear right now, Madrid Padilla’s motorcycle and the bus collided.
Due to the collision, Madrid Padilla sustained fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries. At this time, no further information about the accident is available.

With bus accidents, one of the first things that investigators can look for is camera footage from the bus. That may sound obvious to say, but I’ve had plenty of cases where a family asked us to look into things, and it turned out authorities overlooked obvious details.
I had one case, for example, where two drivers both claimed they had a green light, and the officer was rushed to move on to other work, leaving the investigations incomplete. When we were brought on to the case, it barely took anytime at all to ask the nearby businesses if they had security cameras, and sure enough we got video proving our client’s side of the story was true.
Considering there’s a victim here who isn’t around to tell their side of the story, that kind of evidence is invaluable. So if authorities are able to address all the questions and concerns surrounding this accident, that’s a good step in the right direction. Otherwise, there may need to be a second set of eyes to make sure nothing important slipped through the cracks.
