Alma Garcia-Cortez Injured in Car Accident on Forest Ln. in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — December 18, 2022, Alma Garcia-Cortez was injured in a car accident around 7:06 p.m. on Forest Ln. in Dallas.
According to officials, the victim was traveling westbound in a Honda Accord, about 50 ft away from the intersection with Marsh Ln., attempting a right-hand turn onto a private drive when rear-ended by a Ford Escape.
The collision reported sent the Ford Escape further west in a clockwise spin before it came to a stop in a traffic lane. The victim's Accord was allegedly pushed a bit northwest and came to a stop just on the other side of the private driveway she was trying to enter.
Ms. Garcia-Cortez purportedly suffered serious injuries while the Ford Escape driver was reportedly uninjured.
Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash nor the cause for the severity of injuries.
