2 Injured in Ambulance Accident on Gessner Rd. in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — April 11, 2024, two people were injured following an ambulance accident at approximately 10:30 p.m. along South Gessner Road.
According to authorities, the accident occurred in the vicinity of the Westpark Tollway on South Gessner Road.

The causal factors that led to the wreck remain unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an ambulance collided with the side of a building and overturned, coming to a stop resting on its right side.
A woman—a medic who had been a passenger in the ambulance—incurred reportedly serious but non life-threatening injuries. The person who had been behind the wheel, however, sustained apparently critical injuries. No other injuries have been reported.
Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of those involved—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
