Andrea Hammermeister Injured in Car Accident in Marlin, TX
Marlin, TX — November 11, 2022, Andrea Hammermeister was injured in a car accident around 1:55 p.m. at Craik St. and Bridge St. in Marlin.
Authorities report Andrea Hammermeister's Toyota Highlander had just completed a left turn from Bridge St. onto Craik st. facing northbound. A Chevy Silverado waiting to complete a right turn onto northbound Craik St. reportedly failed to see Andrea Hammermeister's Toyota Highlander and struck the vehicle's passenger side door.
Andrea Hammermeister purportedly suffered serious, incapacitating injuries. The two occupants in the Chevy Silverado were reportedly uninjured.
The speed limit on Craik St. is 30 mph and the weather was reportedly cloudy.
Authorities are still looking into the cause of the crash and the reason for the severity of Andrea Hammermeister's injuries.
