Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
After any car accident, it's important to know that authorities are looking beyond the surface and taking time to secure vital evidence. This includes everything from cellphones to road conditions to alcohol to vehicle defects to tire blowouts. If authorities are given the time and equipment needed for a proper accident reconstruction, they should be able to show the evidence and let the facts speak for themselves. But if following up with authorities shows there are still unanswered questions, it may be best for independent investigators to step in and fill in the gaps.
