Marshall, TX — November 18, 2023, Antonia Rocha and Dominique Jackson were injured following a car accident at around 11:45 p.m. on MLK Jr Boulevard.
According to information about the accident, the crash took place at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Loop 390 and West Grand Avenue/U.S. 80.
Investigators said in a statement that 24-year-old Dominique Jackson was in a Mitsubishi Galant going southbound on MLK. 26-year-old Antonia Rocha was a passenger in a Ford F-150 being driven eastbound on Grand. At the intersection, the two vehicles collided, with the Ford hitting the passenger side of the southbound Mitsubishi.
Due to the collision, Rocha had apparently moderate injuries, and Jackson’s injuries were described as serious. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details can’t be confirmed.

I certainly don’t have any inside info on what happened here, but I do wonder if authorities made sure to look into the injuries sustained in this crash. Generally speaking, someone who’s on the side of the vehicle opposite of the point of impact is going to fare at least as well as others involved in the crash. That person being the more seriously injured one raises the possibility of something unusual happening here. Did police consider that during their investigations?
