Antonio Harrison Oballe, 1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident on S.H. 21 in Bastrop County, TX
Bastrop County, TX — March 5, 2024, Antonio Harrison Oballe and one other person were injured in a hit-and-run car accident just after 8:45 p.m. along S.H. 21.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Antonio Harrison Oballe and a 21-year-old woman were traveling in an eastbound Toyota Corolla on State Highway 21 in the vicinity east of the Heritage Oaks Drive intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a vehicle of unknown make or model without any external lights activated attempted a U-turn from the westbound lanes of the highway onto the eastbound lanes. This resulted in a collision between the back-left of the unknown vehicle and the front-right of the Toyota. The person(s) in the other vehicle reportedly fled the scene, neglecting to stop and render aid of any sort to the victims.
Both Oballe and the woman from the Toyota incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. They were each transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
