Houston, TX -- November 1, 2022, one person was injured due to an accident where an 18-wheeler and a car collided on Eastex Freeway.

Investigators said that the incident happened just after 7:00 a.m. along the southbound lanes of the freeway near Liberty Road.

On top of that, however, it's incredibly unusual that the person worse off in a collision like this is the truck driver.

Any injuries at all, let alone serious ones, while the driver of the car is apparently unscathed just isn't common--not impossible, of course, but not very likely.
