Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
With these recommended charges, people may see all of this as open-and-shut. However, it's important that victims and families always have clear evidence at their disposal to prove what caused the accident. At the end of the day, authorities are not out there getting insurance companies to take responsibility for an accident. That means if the insurance companies see any chance to avoid responsibility, they'll try to take it. If folks are well prepared with extensive evidence and solid legal tools and strategy, they can make sure the story stays straight so they can get the resolution they deserve. I see no reason right now why this crash would be an exception to that.
