Arnelli Odriana Bermudez Injured in Car Accident in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — September 12, 2023, Arnelli Odriana Bermudez was injured as the result of an allege hit-and-run accident at 10:50 p.m. along Monroe Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident happened in the area of the Monroe Road and Sam Houston Tollway intersection.

According to officials, 18-year-old Arnelli Odriana Bermudez was one of multiple people, including children, who were in a Nissan Sentra that was going northbound on Monroe. Another vehicle, a Chevy Avalanche, somehow crashed into the Sentra from behind.
Due to the collision, Bermudez sustained reportedly incapacitating injuries. A 5-year-old and a 19-year-old may have been hurt, but this was not confirmed.
Statements from Harris County officials allege that the Avalanche driver failed to stop and render aid and was charged. The status of those charges is not clear right now, and no further information about the crash is available.
