Two Injured in ATV Accident on F.M. 732 in Cameron County, TX
Cameron County, TX — August 26, 2023, two people were injured following an ATV versus car accident at around 8:40 p.m. along F.M. 732.
Preliminary details about the accident released by authorities indicate that the crash took place near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 732 and Resaca Road.

According to officials, a 13-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy were riding on a Kawasaki ATV going southbound along the roadway. Approaching them from behind was a 39-year-old man in a BMW. For reasons unconfirmed, the BMW crashed into the back of the ATV, forcing it off-road.
The 13-year-old and the 12-year-old were thrown from the ATV where they sustained non-incapacitating injuries and incapacitating injuries, respectively. No other injuries were reported. While the cause of the crash was not confirmed, authorities said it's possible the BMW driver was under the influence of alcohol. No further information is available at this time.
