Minor Killed, Five Injured in ATV-Pickup Truck Accident in Waxahachie, TX
Waxahachie, TX — September 17, 2023, a minor was killed, and five were injured in an ATV-pickup truck crash on Boz Road and Greathouse Road in Waxahachie, TX.
Authorities indicate that on September 17, a fatal accident occurred when an ATV and a pickup truck collided in Waxahachie. According to reports, the crash happened in the evening.
Investigators say a Ford Ranger was heading northbound along Greathouse Road when it made contact with the ATV, which was proceeding west on Boz Road. Police say the ATV drove through a stop sign, and the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Officials confirmed a 12-year-old ATV passenger suffered fatal injuries. Three other passengers reportedly sustained injuries and were taken to area hospitals. Two people in the Ford Ranger, the driver and a passenger, were also hurt in the crash and transported to a hospital. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
