Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Did authorities ever identify the driver involved in this accident? Did they canvas the area for cameras that may have captured the incident on video? Have they put out statements to the public asking for witnesses to come forward? Hit-and-runs often see a conclusion when someone in the community is able to help authorities connect the dots. If authorities move on too quickly, though, important evidence can slip through the cracks.
