Commentary by Michael Grossman
In my experience, two types of accidents carry some of the worst examples of people jumping to conclusions before they have all the facts: motorcycle wrecks, and accidents involving teen drivers. In both scenarios, people are just more likely to assume the driver did something wrong. Unfortunately, even authorities sometimes do this. That's why it's important accidents like this get careful attention to make sure the evidence is able to speak for itself. Did that ever happen here, or did authorities not give the victim here their fair chance?
