Bailey McDowell Injured in Truck Accident in Seabrook, TX
Harris County, TX — March 21, 2024, Bailey McDowell was injured due to a commercial truck accident at around 12:30 a.m. along Bayport Boulevard.
According to initial details released by investigators, the incident took place along southbound lanes of the Highway 146 service road near North NASA Parkway.

Details say that 38-year-old Bailey McDowell was in a Nissan Altima apparently going northbound on a southbound lane of travel. In doing so, the Nissan crashed head-on with a Hino truck. McDowell was seriously injured as a result.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
While the cause of the crash can't be confirmed, some details appeared to show there were lane closures in the area due to construction. Is possible that played some role in what happened here? There are times construction crews divert traffic in ways that are confusing, obstructive, or unnecessarily dangerous. That rarely gets the kind of attention that it deserves. I'd hope investigators don't overlook it here, even if it's just to rule it out.
