Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
These incidents often bring up concerns about the locations where they happen. Sometimes, violent incidents can't be avoided, and people get hurt. Other times, there is a history of issues at a given location that call for improvements to security and safety. As important as it is to address the immediate issues of something like a shooting, it's also important to conduct thorough investigations so there are reasonable measures in place to help prevent future incidents.
