Bicyclist Injured in Car Accident on 16th Street in Orange, TX
Orange, TX — April 23, 2023, one person was injured due to a car accident involving a bicyclist at 9:00 p.m. along 16th Street.
Initial information about the collision says that it occurred in the 2200 block of 16th Street (Highway 87) off the corner of Sunset Drive.

Orange Police Department officials said that the collision occurred as a bicyclist was riding along the road and was said to have come "across the road." At the same time, a witness apparently told authorities that a car was "coming from the red light" when the vehicle and the bicyclist collided with one another.
Due to this collision, the bicyclist was taken to an area hospital with injuries. The severity of those injuries was not made public. The victim also remains unidentified at this time. Authorities have not yet released additional details about the accident.
