Wichita County, TX — December 21, 2025, three people were injured following a car accident at around 2:42 a.m. along Burkburnett Road.
Authorities said that the crash happened off the corner of Highway 240 and Cashion Road.
It appears that a Dodge Ram was going westbound along Cashion at the time. A Chevy Malibu was going northbound on the highway. At the intersection, the vehicles crossed paths and collided. Due to this, a passenger in the Malibu was seriously injured. Two others had moderate injuries.
At this time, additional details are unavailable.

One of the challenges with serious car accidents is a lot people assume that there is some automatic process for getting a resolution. I’ve had countless families come to me after the crash saying, “We went to the hospital, we saved everything, we waited for police to contact us, and here we are months later without any word on what to do next. What gives?”
Simply put, authorities don’t often prioritize the needs of victims and families after a car accident. They looked for citations or charges to file, they clear the scene, and that about covers it. Meanwhile, victims and their families are left trying to pick up the pieces, and that takes a lot of evidence and legal maneuvering police investigations won’t likely provide.
That’s why I tell folks that it helps to be proactive as early as possible. The more certain they can be that they have all the evidence they need going forward, the better their outcomes generally will be. Sitting around waiting for things to happen is a sure way to let important evidence slip through the cracks.
