Dallas, TX — December 22, 2025, three people were injured as the result of a car accident which happened at 2:20 a.m. on Central Expressway.
According to initial details from authorities, the crash occurred along northbound lanes of US 75 in the area of Royal Lane.
Investigators said that a 19-year-old was in a Toyota Corolla going northbound. Two people were in a Kia Sportage going the same direction. The vehicles somehow crossed paths and collided with each other. Due to this, the Toyota driver was seriously injured. The two people from the Kia had moderate injuries.

After handling car accident cases for more than 30 years, people might think the process feels like run-of-the-mill, routine work at this point. However, I know from experience that thinking like that is exactly how crash investigations are mishandled. Each crash can involve its own unique challenges. Looking at the crash from every angle and considering even unlikely possible factors is important. For example, I rarely see officials look into possible vehicle defects. That’s something a proper accident reconstruction should be able to at least rule out. So, maybe steps have been taken here to get the crash the attention it needs. It just wouldn’t be that surprising if the crash needed another set of eyes looking things over to ensure nothing important slipped through the cracks.
