Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

It’s obviously serious anytime OSHA alleges there were violations found after a fatal work accident. However, that’s rarely the end of the story. Texas has uniquely challenging work fatality law, and families often have to navigate a legal maze completely independent of OSHA’s process to see a proper resolution. As such, it wouldn’t be surprising here is there had to be thorough independent investigations into the accident to get the full story.
