Austin, TX — September 27, 2023, Javier Esteban Graves was killed due to a semi-truck accident at around 1:05 a.m. along MoPac Expressway.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the collision happened near the interchange with Capital of Texas Highway/TX-360.
According to officials, 26-year-old Javier Esteban Graves was in a Honda Accord reportedly going southbound along MoPac. Passing a marked construction zone, the vehicle reportedly passed a vehicle on the left, moved back to the right, then somehow continued rightward until it crashed into a construction vehicle.
As a result of the collision, Graves succumbed to fatal injuries. It appears one person in the truck had non-incapacitating injuries, according to officials. Right now, there are no further details about the crash available.
