Harris County, TX — January 24, 2026, Kennedy Lowery Jr. was killed as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 3:55 a.m. along Lockwood Drive.
Investigators said that the accident took place in the area of Pardee Street and North Loop 610 East.
According to officials, Kennedy Lowery Jr. was a pedestrian who was on southbound lanes of Lockwood. While walking, a Toyota Camry reportedly struck Kennedy Lowery. Officials say Kennedy Lowery died as a result of the accident.
It appears that the silver Toyota Camry left the scene. Additional details are unavailable.

If authorities have yet to locate the driver involved in this, then it would likely help to keep the reports as visible in the public eye as possible. A lot of the time, someone is able to connect dots authorities can’t, which can lead to the suspect. In the meantime, it might help if anyone with a security camera in that area could check their footage, if they still have it. It would be an immense help to publish a picture of the suspect vehicle, but security video is often time-sensitive. Getting a proper resolution for all of this could genuinely come down to a matter of hours in gathering important evidence.
