Bobby Cryer Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident in Lawrence County, AL
Lawrence County, AL — May 3, 2023, Bobby G. Cryer was fatally injured following a tractor-trailer accident at around 6:30 a.m. along Lawrence County Road 87.
Preliminary statements from officials with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency say that the crash took place just off of Lawrence County Road 203 outside of Moulton. It appears they describe the fatal wreck as a single-vehicle accident.

Initial details right now say that 63-year-old Bobby Cryer was the driver of a tractor-trailer that was traveling along County Road 87. For reasons which have not yet been confirmed, the tractor-trailer apparently ran off-road. There, the tractor-trailer then hit multiple objects and trees before coming to a stop.
Emergency responders say that Cryer was pronounced deceased at the scene following the wreck. No other individuals were said to have been involved in the crash. Currently, authorities have not said what possible factors they're looking at to determine the possible cause of the crash. No further information is available at this time.
