Camilla Edith King Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Grand Prairie, TX
Grand Prairie, TX — October 13, 2023, Camilla King was killed and two people were injured following a car accident at 10:00 p.m. along South Carrier Parkway.
Details from Grand Prairie Police and Tarrant County officials indicate the incident occurred along the 3000 block of South Carrier Parkway, just south of Arkansas Lane.

Current information says that 81-year-old Camilla King was in a Cadillac traveling northbound along Carrier Parkway. Authorities say the vehicle somehow lost control, causing it to run off-road where it crashed into a pole.
As a result of the crash, King succumbed to her injuries following transport to a hospital. The driver of the vehicle and one other passenger, neither of which have been publicly identified at this time, were taken to the hospital in apparently critical conditions.
No further information about the accident is available pending investigations.
