Wharton County, TX — October 22, 2025, a man was injured following a car accident that took place at around 9:07 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 102.
According to initial details about the crash, it happened just west of Wharton at FM 102 and County Road 228.
Investigators said that a Chevy pickup was going along the roadway when it somehow lost control and crashed. The driver was seriously injured as a result. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident.

One of the primary concerns I hear from folks involved in single vehicle accidents is they want to be sure their side of the story is told fairly. While some would assume police investigations are always the final word on what led to a crash, not all investigations are so thorough.
Sometimes, folks find that when they go to authorities with their question and concerns, the responses only leave unanswered questions. That’s when there may need to be more thorough independent investigations to ensure all factors are being considered thoroughly and nothing is being left out.
