Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
As open-and-shut as these details may seem, motorcycle accidents can bring up all kinds of speculation. Even if police blame someone else, people are susceptible to believing the rider did something wrong just because a lot of people are biased against motorcyclists. So as damning as a driver facing charges may seem, it can be important to gather as much clear evidence as possible independent of that just to ensure there’s no room for blame-shifting.
