Gwinnett County, GA — December 10, 2025, one person was killed as the result of a multi-vehicle accident which occurred around 1:00 p.m. on Highway 316.

Initial statements on the crash say it happened at the Buford Drive/Highway 124 overpass along eastbound lanes of GA-316/US 29/University Parkway.

This soon after a crash, it's not unusual for there to be few details available. The question is if authorities have been able to dedicate enough time and resources to preserving evidence. A lot of the time after a chaotic fatal crash, authorities are so focused on clearing and containing the scene that they can't take the time for a dedicated accident reconstruction. That's why a lot of victims and families decide to bring in outside help. Either they can ultimately confirm the same details authorities come up with, or they can catch important details authorities let slip through the cracks.
