Commentary
A common challenge with car accidents is people tend to think they're open-and-shut just because authorities seem to clearly place blame. In reality, there are no simple accidents when serious injuries are involved. Any room left to muddy the waters is going to be taken advantage of by insurance companies if they're able. Providing as much clear evidence as possible is what helps to keep the facts straight so there can be accountability for what happened. Were those steps taken here?
