Man Injured in Car Accident on Highway 146 in Baytown, TX
Harris County, TX — December 7, 2025, a man sustained injuries following a car accident at around 4:15 a.m. along Highway 146.
According to investigators, the accident happened near Alexander Drive along northbound lanes of the highway.
Investigators said that a 20-year-old man was going along the highway. The vehicle reportedly lost control, and the vehicle ultimately overturned. The driver was seriously injured as a result.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. It appears roads were slick at the time, but the cause of the crash wasn't confirmed.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One of my concerns with crashes involving slick roads is authorities sometimes jump to conclusions. They just assume the driver messed up, and they don't consider anything past that. People deserve to have their side of the story told fairly, and that requires letting the evidence speak for itself. As such, if it ever seems like authorities came to a hasty conclusion or didn't bother looking into all the facts, that may be a sign that independent investigators need to step in and ensure there's a more thorough analysis of the details.
