Carlos Aguirre Lopez Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Temple, TX
Bell County, TX — July 17, 2023, Carlos Aguirre Lopez was killed and one person was injured following a car accident at 4:21 p.m. on Highway 317.
Initial details about the accident said that it took place in the area of the Highway 317 and Oak Hills Drive intersection.
According to officials, 34-year-old Carlos Aguirre Lopez and a 32-year-old woman were in a Toyota pickup going southbound along the highway. For reasons not confirmed right now, the vehicle lost control while passing another vehicle, and it ended up overturning off the side of the roadway.
Lopez sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The woman in the pickup had reportedly incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
