Chance Adkins Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Joshua, TX
Joshua, TX — September 11, 2023, Chance Adkins was fatally injured due to a pedestrian accident just before midnight along Highway 174.
Investigators said in their preliminary statements that the collision occurred at approximately 11:58 p.m. in the area of the Highway 174 and Farm-to-Market 917.
According to officials, 24-year-old Chance Adkins was walking in the area and reportedly attempted to cross the highway near a Valero gas station. Investigators say that a southbound driver said they were looking at gas prices just before the vehicle struck Adkins in the roadway.
As a result of this collision, Adkins sustained fatal injuries. Right now, there is no indication of pending charges or citations. Investigators have not yet released any additional details concerning the accident.
