Charlie Phillips II Killed in Semi-Trailer Accident in Willis, TX
Willis, TX — March 8, 2024, Charlie Phillips II was killed due to a tractor-trailer accident at around 2:45 a.m. along Interstate 45.
According to officials, the collision occurred in north Montgomery County near the I-45 northbound exit ramp for Highway 75.

Investigators stated that 42-year-old Charlie Phillips II was in a Hyundai Accent traveling along I-45. Due to factors which are unconfirmed at this time, the Hyundai collided with the back end of a tractor-trailer. The 18-wheeler then dragged the Hyundai until stopping along the right shoulder.
