Commentary on Charlotte Jo Wells Truck Accident in Dallas
A situation like this, quite simply, is going to be incredibly complex. If someone brought a crash like this, I'd be taking steps to ensure experienced independent accident reconstructionists were handling things rather than just waiting on police. There are multiple factors to consider. What caused the initial truck wreck? Was that avoidable? Was the truck visible, and did the other drivers have time to avoid it? Did the 18-wheeler driver have time to avoid the victim's vehicle, or were they just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Did everyone's airbags and seatbelts work properly? Likely or not, all kinds of things can contribute to a crash like this, and it's important victims and families know those factors are getting proper attention so they can get the help they deserve.
