Child Killed in Pedestrian Car Accident on Pearl Street in Kerrville, TX
Kerrville, TX — April 6, 2024, a child was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 2:30 p.m. along Pearl Street.
According to authorities, a motor vehicle was backing out of a driveway on Pearl Street in the vicinity of the Paschal Street intersection when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a 2-year-old child who was on foot in the area was struck by the motor vehicle. The child incurred critical and life-threatening injuries, as a result; they were transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. However, the child was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of their injuries, having there been declared deceased.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
