Christian De La Cerda, Trent Haydin Clarke Killed in Santa Fe, TX
Santa Fe, TX — October 7, 2023, Christian De La Cerda and Trent Clarke were killed following a single-vehicle accident at around 4:00 a.m. on F.M. 1764.
Officials said that the fatal crash occurred in the area of the F.M. 1764 and Avenue J intersection. 22-year-old Christian De La Cerda and 21-year-old Trent Clarke were said to be occupants of a Chevy Silverado pickup which was going eastbound along F.M. 1764.

For reasons not confirmed right now, the vehicle hit the curb on the right side of the road, veered left across lanes of traffic, then overturned off-road. It then crashed through a pole before coming to a stop.
Authorities say that both De La Cerda and Clarke were thrown from the vehicle and died as a result. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, no further information is available.
