Christian Santamaria Killed in Work Accident in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — May 31, 2022, Christian Santamaria was killed after an accident involving a boring machine at a job site in Houston.
Preliminary details given in OSHA statements say that the incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of the East Freeway (I-10) and Halsey Street, a residential road that comes out by Texas State Optical, according to Google Maps.

49-year-old Christian Santamaria was said to be on a work site for Hass Co., LLC, which appears to be a construction company. While working to remove chains from a boring machine, OSHA officials say Santamaria became caught in the machine, resulting in fatal injuries. No other injuries were mentioned in the reports.
