McCulloch County, TX — December 24, 2023, Claudio Tineo was injured in a single-car accident at approximately 4:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 190.
According to reports, 59-year-old Claudio Tineo was traveling in a westbound Dodge Ram pickup truck on U.S. 190 in the vicinity west of Farm to Market 2822 when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that the pickup truck may have been traveling at unsafe speeds when the wet road conditions are taken into account. The vehicle reportedly veered right and off of the road where it entered a roadside ditch and drove over a culvert and a private driveway. Following that, it allegedly went into a skid and spun 180 degrees and continued its westerly trajectory in reverse until it crashed into an embankment and came to a stop partially in the ditch and partially in the westbound shoulder. After that, the pickup purportedly drove across to the eastbound shoulder and came to a stop after driving for about 400 feet.
Tineo, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash; he was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
