Corey Lantz Vaughn Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in El Paso, TX
El Paso, TX — August 11, 2023. Corey Lantz Vaughn was injured following an 18-wheeler accident at around 2:20 p.m. along North Americas Avenue.
Authorities said in preliminary reports that the accident happened off the corner of the North Americas Avenue and Alameda Avenue intersection.
According to current information, 35-year-old Corey Lantz Vaughn was in a BMW along southbound lanes of the Loop 375 Alameda exit. The BMW was stopped or slowed behind traffic when authorities say an 18-wheeler failed to control speed and crashed into the line of vehicles.
Hitting Vaughn's vehicle first, authorities say Vaughn had incapacitating injuries following the wreck. The driver of the car ahead of Vaughn had apparently non-incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were confirmed. Right now, no further information about the crash is available.
