Dalila Esmeralda Lopez Killed, 1 Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Houston, TX
Harris County, TX — October 5, 2023, Dalila Esmeralda Lopez was fatally injured due to a motorcycle accident at around 8:00 p.m. along the Gulf Freeway.
Houston Police and Harris County officials released information about the fatal accident, which they say happened near the intersection of Interstate 45 and Airport Boulevard.

Preliminary information from the authorities indicates that a motorcyclist and a passenger, identified as Dalila Emeralda Lopez, were traveling along the northbound lanes of the freeway. In a series of events not entirely clear right now, the motorcycle crossed multiple lanes and apparently laid down, putting Lopez in the roadway.
The accident resulted in Lopez suffering injuries that ultimately proved to be fatal. The operator of the motorcycle, who has not been publicly identified at this time, had injuries described as non-life-threatening. No other injuries were reported. At this time, no further information is available.
