Daniel Oquendo Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident in Little Elm, TX
Little Elm, TX — September 15, 2023, Daniel Oquendo was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Farm-to-Market Road 423 in Little Elm, TX.
Authorities indicate that on September 15, an accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Little Elm for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 8:50 at night.
Investigators say a Nissan Versa was traveling along FM 423 when a sedan struck it, causing it to roll over several times and hit a guard rail. Police stated that the Nissan driver had his arm partially out of the window when the crash occurred.
Officials confirmed that the Nissan driver, Daniel Oquendo, suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized for a month. Sources say Oquendo's injuries included having to have his arm amputated. Police say the sedan that struck the Nissan fled the scene and has not been located at this time.
No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
