Darin Griffith Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Fort Worth, TX
Fort Worth, TX — May 5, 2023, Darin Griffith sustained fatal injuries due to an apparent hit-and-run accident at around 8:43 p.m. along I-35W.
According to currently available information, the collision happened in the area of the North Freeway and Alliance Gateway Freeway (TX-170).

Information from authorities says that 58-year-old Darin Griffith was a pedestrian and was apparently on the northbound service road of I-35W. While there, authorities say that a vehicle struck Griffith, then fled the scene. Multiple other vehicles apparently hit Griffith, but those drivers reportedly stayed at the scene.
Due to the collision, Griffith succumbed to fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries. Authorities did not report any citations or charges, and details about the alleged runaway driver also remain unclear at this time.
