UPDATE (March 15, 2024): The man who lost his life as a result of this accident has been identified as 31-year-old David Lawrence Robison, of Mansfield.
Arlington, TX — February 1, 2024, a man was killed following a motorcycle versus car accident shortly before 10:45 p.m. along East Mitchell Street.
According to authorities, a 31-year-old man was traveling on an eastbound motorcycle along East Mitchell Street in the vicinity of the Center Street Trail intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered left of center and entered the westbound lane of traffic. This resulted in a collision between the motorcycle and an oncoming Toyota Camry.
The motorcyclist incurred reportedly critical injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome his injuries, having later been declared deceased. No other injuries have been reported. The investigation is currently ongoing.
