Derrick Mogensen Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Montgomery County, TX
Montgomery County, TX — April 20, 2023, Derrick Mogensen was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 2:44 a.m. on Shepherd Hill Rd. in Montgomery County.
Sources report the victim's Chevy Camero was just outside of Ada, TX a little east of Frank Novark Rd. heading west when the vehicle veered off the road toward the passenger side and struck a tree. Mr. Mogensen suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials allege it was overcast, dark, and unlit at the accident location, however, they have not said if visibility was a factor in this accident.
