Devine Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Medina County, TX
Medina County, TX — September 1, 2023, a Devine woman was killed as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 10:40 p.m. on F.M. 1343.
According to preliminary information released about the crash, the incident happened near the intersection of F.M. 1343 and County Road 4514.

Investigators said that a 46-year-old Devine, Texas, woman was driving a Toyota Camry Solara along southbound F.M. 1343. While doping so, the vehicle ended up running off the left side of the roadway where it then crashed into a tree.
Due to the collision, the Toyota driver sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else directly involved in the crash. Witnesses apparently told authorities the vehicle had been going the speed limit prior to the accident. Additional factors contributing to the crash are still under investigation.
